Yuwa

Jharkhand is one of the poorest indian states, where the illiteracy rate is very high, and child marriage is still there. Here the girls have not the chance to

choose their own future, they are destined to forced early marriage and to do domestic work.

Yuwa, was founded in 2009 and today has the largest women’s soccer program in India with more than 600 girls enrolled to soccer practice and 250 professional players who have also participated in international championships. In addition to the football school, Yuwa offers them an international school which costs 200 rupees per month (around $ 2.92).
